Location and price can’t be beat, the only caveat I can offer is some rooms get more noise from the freeway than others. This is the cleanest motel on all of Thompson Blvd. (seriously don’t go down the street), it’s a block from the beach, and 5-10 min walk from all restaurants downtown, plenty of parking, free coffee in the lobby! Check in/out always effortless, new guy running the place-Ricky, does his job well.

A keurig coffee maker in the room would be a huge improvement. The hotel was just dated and worn but things worked, the water was steaming hot and the beds comfortable. It was roughly 1.5 blocks south and 2 west from the beach. It was in or on the edge of downtown. It was a good place to stay if racing the local marathons.
