Motel 6 Arcata, CA – Cal Poly Humboldt

If you follow any of my reviews, you know that I'm on an extended road trip. Having lost my husband of 42 years. I decided to do some traveling. After reading this review, you're going to tell me it's time I head home, but this is all true. I'm not too sure about this review. 1st, I must reference on older song by the group called the Eagles. This band was my husband's favorite. We listened to it them all the time. One of their best songs was called Hotel California. In the song, a lot of weird things happen once you check into this hotel. I think you should listen to it before you stay here. Well crazy as it sounds, that's how I feel about this place. When you enter the lobby, you are greeted by a machine that is asking how it may help you the funny thing is there is a person standing behind the counter but you're not suppose to talk to them no you interact with the face on the screen. He had to repeat everything at least three times, either I couldn't understand him or hear him or was in just a state of disbelief. Let's just say this took a while anyway 3 days later when I'm finally got my keys. I walked out of the office, still quite lost. Wait, it gets crazier later that day. I go looking for the ice maker, but there there's a note on the machine that you must 1st go to the office 1st. OK, back I go 3 miles in the other direction. Let's go face that computer screen again, so now you have to ask for permission to get ice. I know what you're thinking. Somebody let this lady out too soon. The world isn't ready for her. I swear this is all true. It's just the way it really happened.
