Strong smell of chlorine bleach when I opened the door, which I decided to consider as evidence of cleanliness. A few minutes of running A/C with door open reduced it. Otherwise it was basic, simple, clean and cheap. Reception was pleasant and cordial.

If you're interested in encountering issues with the local police, this hotel is the right choice, as you can expect to be taken advantage of by one of the two aggressive police departments in the area.
