How do I zoom in and out on the map?

You can either:

• Use the navigation bar on the left side of the map.
• Use the scroll wheel on your mouse.
• Double click on the map

How do I narrow down my search on the map to find a specific property?

Zoom in the map to the particular area you want to stay and hover over the Motel 6 icon to get information on the motel. Either click on the “Check Rates & Availability” button to check rates or click on the motel name at the top to get specific information on the motel.

Why is the icon of the property that I am viewing shaded darker?

This indicates that the motel has no availability for the dates that you are searching. Either choose another property in the area or choose alternative dates.

How do I choose a Point of Interest?

Click on the Point of Interest button on the right side of the map to get a drop-down list of categories. Click the desired category and select the Point of Interest you choose to see on the map. An icon with a star will designate the location.

Why do I not get a satellite photo of the town I have selected?

Depending on how large the town is, you may need to scroll back out to get a visual image.
