When a child is sick, parents need a team of support to help them recover. Ronald McDonald
House Charities® (RMHC®), a non-profit 501(c) 3, wants to give children the best chance
of recovering - and that means having their parents, siblings, and sometimes grandparents
nearby for love and support. For example, the Ronald McDonald House® program allows
families to access specialized medical treatment by providing a place to live near the
hospital at little to no cost. At the House, families are supported at the most basic level, with
a roof over the heads. And, then the staff and volunteers take it further to ensure the
families are provided emotional support and a place to re-energize after a draining day at the
hospital. In turn, these families can be there with love and support to help their child heal
faster and cope better.
In addition, the Ronald McDonald Family Room® provides parents a place to rest and
rejuvenate within the hospital, often steps from their child's bedside. The Ronald McDonald
Care Mobile® program takes access to health care one step further, by providing quality
medical, dental and health education to vulnerable children, right in their own communities.
Ronald McDonald House Charities can't make medicine taste better or take away painful
treatments, but they can make sure their family is nearby to provide love and support.
Please join us in supporting this worthwhile cause and show the four million families that are
helped by RMHC programs each year how much you care with your generous donation.
