Leaders Honored for Service, Performance and Management Excellence
DALLAS, Texas – Motel 6, known for offering a clean, comfortable room for the lowest price of any national chain, and Studio 6, known for putting more in your room and less on your bill, have announced the network’s top performers for 2011. Two winners claimed the honor of General Manager of the Year – as Elizabeth Robbins, general manager for Motel 6 Greensboro – Airport and Ravinesh Singh, general manager for Motel 6 Sacramento – South, both produced outstanding results in 2011. Robbins and Singh were selected from among more than 600 of their fellow general managers of company-owned Motel 6 and Studio 6 subsidiaries in the U.S. and Canada.
Ryan Reed, area manager responsible for the leading the exceptional performance of 11 Studio 6 locations covering five states in the western U.S., was named Area Manager of the Year for the network. The company named its Franchisee of the Year, William Lawson, owner and operator of Motel 6 Anchorage, Alaska, and its Canadian Franchisee of the Year, Don Rosten of Motel 6 Red Deer, Alberta, last fall at the brands’ annual franchise conference.
Recipients of these awards demonstrate commitment to the company’s core values of innovation, the spirit of conquest, performance, respect and trust. The chosen general managers, area manager and franchisees excel in three primary areas: guest service, efficient property management and financial performance.
The company also awarded Regional General Manager of the Year honors per Motel 6/Studio 6 operational region and recognized top performers per franchise operational area. The winners include:
