Young American Veterans to Tour the Country, Promote Their Debut Album and Benefit Veteran-Related Charities


DALLAS, Texas (February 9, 2010) – Motel 6, known for offering a clean, comfortable room for the lowest price of any national chain, is excited to announce its partnership with 4TROOPS. Recently signed to Sony MASTERWORKS, 4TROOPS is comprised of four United States combat veterans whose songs honor the sacrifices made by all troops, past and present. Motel 6 will donate lodging for the group throughout their U.S. Military base tour which kicks off in March 2010.

4TROOPS are United States combat veterans - three young men and one woman who served on the front lines in Iraq and Afghanistan. While overseas, music played a crucial and very personal role in all of their lives. They would sing at everything from large military events to more intimate settings. 4TROOPS now come together for a singular purpose: to sing on behalf of all troops, past and present, to honor their sacrifices and to create awareness for their needs. Their debut self-titled CD will be released in the spring, with a portion of the proceeds from the sales to benefit veteran-related charities including the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America.
