The successful candidate for all management positions will possess the qualities outlined in the following profile:

  1. Knowledge and Prior Experience with People Management. Includes recruiting and hiring skills, training, coaching, motivating, evaluating and communicating with a diverse staff. Able to supervise/develop employees.
  2. Operational and General Management Experience. Background includes basic management responsibilities, planning, organizing, directing, budgeting, implementing controls, measuring, coordinating and being flexible to changing business conditions.
  3. Hospitality or Related Industry Experience. Includes training and/or experience in the fields of servicing others' needs, direct interface with the customer/guest, sensitivity to the importance of interpersonal relationships, handling guest complaints and motivating others to welcome guests in a hospitable manner. Should demonstrate a "Guest Comes First" attitude.
  4. Strong Work Ethic. Candidate needs little supervision, takes initiative when necessary, willing to work extra hours when needed, communicates in a timely way and is honest and trustworthy. Committed to providing quality service and to attainment of quality goals and standards.
  5. Specific Property Assignment and Residence. Candidate is initially hired for a specific property when possible. Is required to reside on-property in the one-bedroom apartment provided. Ideally, will remain assigned to a specific property for at least two (2) years and is willing to accept transfers to acquire additional skills or as a promotion.
