To keep our employees prepared, we invest in training at every level. Following are the types of training required to become a manager:
Phase I
Managers receive a five-week paid training program at one of our Regional Training Centers (RTC). Training consists of all aspects of guest relations, bookkeeping, laundry, maintenance and management responsibilities, including three weeks on-the-job training.
At the conclusion of the initial five week training program, managers will report to their assigned properties, or be placed on relief management status.
Phase II
The "University of Six" provides additional development and training opportunities to all of our employees for the purpose of career enhancement.
Regional VP
Regional VP has responsibility for approximately 70-100 properties. Duties include, but are not limited to, financial planning and control, sales, product quality, staff hiring and development, and ensuring 100% guest satisfaction.
Area Manager
Area Manager has the overall operation responsibility for approximately 15 properties.
General Managers
General Managersrun every facet of a $1-4 million-dollar business, including all personnel matters, finance, property and sales management responsibilities.
Assistant Manager
Assistant Manager is viewed as a potential Manager-In-Training. Promotion into the management position is a function of performance as measured by actual results.
